Winners and losers from Nathaniel Hackett hire

Losers: Tim Patrick and Courtland Sutton

So if the Denver Broncos want to put a package together for Aaron Rodgers, Tim Patrick or Courtland Sutton could be on their way out.

Both of their contracts they recently signed are very tradable, and the Packers may ask for one of them in a package for Rodgers.

I’m not sure how likely it is, but the Packers have multiple X receivers as free agents, including Allen Lazard who is 6-foot-5 and Marquez Valdes-Scantling, who is 6-foot-4.

The Packers will need to replace their two big body free agents if they don’t bring either back, and they could ask for either Sutton or Patrick in a trade.

Plus, if by some chance they get Davante Adams, the Broncos would need to unload a receiver contract or two to make it work financially.

While I don’t think it’s likely that the team gets Adams, it’s worth mentioning.

If the Broncos don’t get Adams and lose Patrick or Sutton in a deal for Rodgers, Denver would need to add another body to their room, and Rodgers’ chemistry with Lazard and MVS would help the entire receiver room.
