Denver Broncos – Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers (12) warms up before the Green Bay Packers play the Seattle Seahawks at Lambeau Field in Green Bay on Sunday, Nov. 14, 2021. /

The Aaron Rodgers sweepstakes might be underway for the Denver Broncos and a handful of other football teams bringing forth chaos.

Aaron Rodgers is well regarded as one of the best quarterbacks and passers the NFL has ever seen. He is a future, first-ballot Hall of Famer. If by chance he becomes available the number of suitors will be longer than the list we narrow it to.

However, in this piece, we are tasked with choosing five teams that Rodgers could represent in 2022 embarking on a new journey. The Denver Broncos are expected to be among those interested in Rodgers should he become available.

It seems like Rodgers has been on thin ice with the organization for quite some time. The Jordan Love pick might have started it all; however, it was what happened during both free agency and draft that triggered the disgruntled quarterback. This stems from the top down.

Brian Gutekunst and Mark Murphy were tasked with bringing in premium talent for the Packers and the roster. In Rodgers’ tenure, it seemed the Packers never did much to surround him with an ideal talent to push the team over the top. There he would reach potentially numerous Super Bowls and not just one. It seems like a complete travesty Rodgers has only been to one of those in his Packer tenure.

Rodgers has put himself in a precarious situation where he has enemies. He has voiced his opinion on topics regarding the COVID-19 vaccine putting him in the line of fire. It’s important people or fans push aside the feelings toward Rodgers to understand he could be a player away for their respected teams.

Like Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning when he entered free agency, Rodgers is possibly moving toward unprecedented territory. Teams will be lining up for his services not because they support his political views, but his talents and what he brings to their team.

Listed in this slideshow are five teams who might be crawling to Aaron Rodgers’ doorstep if he becomes available.
