Week 13 at Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs are roaring into the playoffs looking every bit like a team ready to reach a Super Bowl for a third straight year. But back in early December, they were ripe for the picking.

The Broncos went into Arrowhead in a game that got flexed to Sunday Night Football. They needed to end the losing streak against Kansas City and the levels these two teams were playing at going into this game weren’t far off.

Though the Chiefs have turned the ship around in the right direction, they were still collecting their bearings in Week 13. But the Broncos managed just nine points.

Nine measly points, thanks in large part to another pedestrian performance from Teddy Bridgewater.

The Chiefs didn’t even play particularly well in this game, but it was enough to get the job done.

With the loss, which marked a 12th in a row against the Chiefs, the Broncos were sure to be out of any talks of winning the AFC West but this loss also put a serious strain on a Wild Card as well.

You don’t get many chances to win in Arrowhead and the Broncos had a chance in this one, their execution was just poor all the way around.
