Week 10 vs. Philadelphia Eagles

This was possibly the most frustrating loss of the entire season. Why? Let us count the ways.

The Broncos not only had this game at home, but they were coming off dismantling the Dallas Cowboys on the road the week before. That win got the Broncos to 5-4 on the year and a win over the Eagles could start to build the kind of momentum a playoff contender needs.

Instead, the Broncos were flat as could be against the visiting Eagles, who started quick and were up 10-0 after the first quarter.

From there, the Eagles were just the more physical team, using the combination of Jordan Howard and Boston Scott to run all over the Broncos. The Eagles had over 200 yards rushing on the day and that led to an embarrassing 30-13 home defeat.

This game showed that this was just not a good Broncos team perhaps more than any other. How do you go into Dallas the week before, have a 30-0 lead in that game at one point en route to a convincing win, and then come out and play like this?

Absolutely maddening.
