Denver Broncos mock draft 6th, 7th rounds

I said earlier I hope the Broncos go with multiple offensive linemen throughout this draft class, and Braxton Jones is an intriguing player that we’ll all get a look at soon up-close at the Senior Bowl.

Jones is 6-foot-7 and has extremely long arms as well as a strong base.

He’s a people-mover in the running game and would be a fun dart throw on day three with the selection the Broncos acquired from the Philadelphia Eagles for Kary Vincent Jr.

I thought about putting Bailey Zappe in the slot where I took Desmond Ridder, but I don’t know if everyone’s quite ready for that discussion.

Sterns is one of Zappe’s top targets and even though he doesn’t have great size, he simply catches everything Zappe throws his direction.

He’s gotten plenty of All-American love this year and offers at least a little experience in the punt return game as well.

Listed at 6-foot-6, 320 pounds, Uwazurike has some really impressive production behind the line of scrimmage for a big man. He looks like he plays closer to 300 pounds, but he’s capable of aligning all over the defensive front from the 0T to the 5T.

He had 43 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, and nine sacks this past season at Iowa State.
