Where could Vic Fangio land if he’s out as Denver Broncos HC?

1. Las Vegas Raiders (Jim Harbaugh)

The Las Vegas Raiders are obviously a team in transition.

Jon Gruden stepped down as head coach of the team earlier this year and interim head coach Rich Bisaccia has actually done a pretty great job in his stead.

Even though many feel like Bisaccia deserves a fair shot to be the permanent head coach beyond this season, I don’t know that the Raiders would pass on the chance to potentially hire Jim Harbaugh as their new head coach and pair him up with Fangio as defensive coordinator.

Yes, there is Jim Harbaugh-to-the-NFL buzz building again. It certainly could be a ploy on Harbaugh’s end to get a massive contract extension from Michigan, or it could also potentially be legit.

We know Mark Davis will spare no expense, and the Raiders could be a great fit for Harbaugh.

If Harbaugh does jump on board with the Raiders, Fangio is a very logical candidate to join him as defensive coordinator. Remember, these two had an outstanding working relationship at Stanford and with the San Francisco 49ers from 2010-2014.

If the Broncos decide to move on from Vic Fangio, the Raiders, or wherever Jim Harbaugh might land (he’s also rumored to be interested in the Bears, potentially) make the most sense.
