Drew Lock’s last game in Denver?

Drew Lock will be making his third straight start after Teddy Bridgewater suffered a concussion the last time he was on the field. It could also be the last start he makes for the Broncos.

If the Broncos are to move in another direction at quarterback next season, it’s quite possible that the team moves on from both Bridgewater and Lock. It seems certain that Lock won’t be the starter next season.

The Broncos could trade Lock following this season to a team looking for a backup or for a developmental guy behind a quality starter. So Lock could be auditioning for several teams around the league.

Lock was not given the best opportunity in Denver and to me, that absolutely can’t be argued. But that is water under the bridge at this point. Hopefully, Lock balls out against the Chiefs and shows someone that he should have another chance to be successful in this league.

And there’s a slight chance that could still be in Denver.
