Can the Broncos finally end this streak?

The Broncos have lost 12 games in a row against the Chiefs, dating back to the 2015 season. It doesn’t seem likely that the streak ends here, as the Chiefs are still playing for the No.1 overall seed in the AFC.

Had they wrapped that up, the Broncos many have been given an easy route with the Chiefs resting all of their core players. Instead, they will see Patrick Mahomes, who has never lost to Denver, and all of his accomplices.

If the Broncos could somehow pull off what would be one of the biggest upsets in the league this season, it would feel like a bit of a victory in this poor season, as even though the playoffs wouldn’t come next, getting that monkey off of their backs would be about the best thing to happen in 2021 for the Broncos.

September 14, 2014, was the last time the Broncos beat the Chiefs in Denver when Peyton Manning was still the starting quarterback.

The Chiefs will be looking to extend their winning streak against the Broncos to 13 games and there could be no end in sight if these teams keep going in the directions they are going.
