The Denver Broncos will conclude their 2021 season on Saturday against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Unfortunately, this game will be devoid of the usual excitement as the Broncos’ fate has already been decided. There will not be a chance to get in the playoffs no matter the result so the Broncos will be looking for one of those moral victories that don’t translate to much in the long run.

With the Broncos having lost three games in a row, most fans are probably just happy to be getting this year over with. Sadly, the Broncos are on a nearly unprecedented stretch in futility.

Playing against one of the league’s better teams in a game that is meaningless for the Broncos, it may be hard for some fans to tune in for this game. But there are still a handful of reasons to watch.

Can Jerry Jeudy get into the end zone?

Jerry Jeudy has missed a lot of action in his second year in the league. A high ankle sprain shut him down early this season and he missed last week’s game due to COVID protocols. But he has had a dreadful season when he has been on the field.

So bad that he could soon be hearing the dreaded “bust” term.

Many will point to his injuries and poor quarterback play for that, but other wide receivers such as Justin Jefferson and CeeDee Lamb, players that were in the same draft class and taken after Jeudy, have proven to be much, much better players so far.

Jeudy has just 36 receptions this season but none of those have resulted in him getting into the end zone. It would be nice to see Jeudy not finish the season with a goose egg in that department, so hopefully, Drew Lock can dial his number up at least one time and put six points on the board.
