The Denver Broncos play their 2021 regular-season finale on Saturday. Who is playing in their final game with the team (if they haven’t already) on offense?

The Denver Broncos are playing their final game of the 2021 season on Saturday afternoon against the Kansas City Chiefs. When they take the field, which players could be playing in their final game with the team on the offensive side of the ball?

Perhaps some have already done so.

Let’s take a look at some players currently slated for 2022 free agency who almost certainly won’t be back with the Broncos next season.

3. Cameron Fleming, offensive tackle

At the beginning of the 2021 season, I absolutely could not be convinced that the Denver Broncos keeping Cameron Fleming on the 53-man roster was a good idea.

As the season progressed and the Broncos had to rotate in six different tackles, it became clear exactly why they did keep Fleming on the roster.

Although I will still contend that I believe they could have kept Fleming on the practice squad and just protected him most weeks, they probably feared that during the slight window when guys were unprotected that Fleming would sign to an active roster anyway.

As it turned out, Fleming was useful for the Broncos as a reserve tackle, being forced into action due to injuries and, more recently, as a COVID replacement.

He didn’t exactly show that he could be the future at the RT position for the Broncos and although Fleming was solid, it’s safe to say we likely won’t see him back in 2022.
