Denver Broncos general manager George Paton has made some nice moves in year one on the job, but getting Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams would be legendary.

Signing Peyton Manning in the 2012 offseason was one of the best acquisitions in pro sports history. Finding a way to somehow bring Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams to the Denver Broncos in 2022?

Well, that would be absolutely legendary by George Paton.

Is it really out of the realm of possibility? When people in the know are bringing it up, it is worth discussing.

Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams on the Broncos together?

Peter King and Woody Paige are both longtime NFL reporters. The fact that they are floating out the same idea could ultimately mean nothing, or maybe it means a pretty big something.

Davante Adams and Aaron Rodgers each posted matching Instagram stories in the 2021 offseason of the documentary series The Last Dance with Rodgers able to force his way out of Green Bay in 2022 and Adams slated to become a free agent.

It will be fascinating to watch what happens with Green Bay in the 2022 offseason regardless, but the possibility of these two stars joining forces together in Denver does exist, as slim as it may seem.

This is the kind of player movement reserved only for fantasy land, but when you have credible journalists who are in the know talking about it? It takes on a different meaning.

Not only do you have these guys floating the same idea out there, but you also have this from 850 KOA NFL insider Benjamin Allbright.

Well, what could that mean?

I guess we’re all fixing to find out.

There’s no question that the 2022 offseason is going to be massive for general manager George Paton, whether he can find a way to get Aaron Rodgers in orange and blue or not.

One way or another, he’s going to be hunting for a big-time quarterback to lead his team in 2022, but right now, questions remain about who will even be the team’s head coach.

Last offseason, Paton kept his true intentions pretty close to the vest, at least in terms of major free agent acquisitions and the 2021 NFL Draft. He fooled everyone into thinking the Broncos were about to take a quarterback with the 9th overall pick and instead stunned just about everyone by taking Alabama cornerback Pat Surtain II.

Some secrets are easier to keep than others.

As the 2022 NFL offseason gets closer, the prospect of making another all-time, legendary move at the quarterback position becomes more and more real.

Can George Paton pull off a deal for Aaron Rodgers? As of right now, that seems so crazy to even think about, but I think we can all expect him to shoot for the stars.

If he does get Rodgers, could he really find a way to also bring in Davante Adams?

Again, it’s definitely a long shot but we live in a world where crazy things can happen.
