Wish List for the Denver Broncos

4. Launch Pat Shurmur and Tom McMahon to Mars

In all seriousness, these two coaches need to go.  Pat Shurmur’s offense is bland and uninspiring, and Tom McMahon’s special teams unit is as useful as a wet towel

The Broncos need to get more dynamic on offense, and acquiring one of the QBs I mentioned above will do that.  The team needs to, in my opinion, target a coordinator with a record of sustained success.

I’m not someone who fully understands the X’s and O’s, but it’s clear that whatever Shurmur and McMahon are doing isn’t working.

These coaches are arguably the two weakest links on the Denver Broncos, and replacing them with better coaches can have impacts in the win and loss columns.

Hopefully, the decisions to terminate these coaches will be quick and easy for the Broncos.  At this point, I cannot see how either stays beyond this year.  There was an argument to be made that them staying for the 2021 season made sense, but they have not done anything worth keeping since the season began.

If the Denver Broncos hit on all of these wishes, I would be a happy man.
