KJ Hamler was selected in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos. His speed and ability to get open was an intriguing aspect of his game that the Broncos could not overlook. At the end of the day, the team decided to take him 46th overall after taking another wide receiver, Jerry Jeudy, in the first round.
Hamler caught 30 passes for 381 yards and three touchdowns during his rookie season and in 86 snaps during the 2021 season, he caught five passes for 74 yards. That was until he suffered another injury.
