Denver Broncos bold prediction vs. Lions: RB trio goes off for 250-plus

It feels like the Denver Broncos’ rushing attack is really starting to hit a stride in recent weeks.

Dating back to the team’s blowout win against the Dallas Cowboys, the Broncos have run for 190, 147, and 154 yards in three of their last four games.

The 190-yard performance against the Cowboys was the most prosperous game running the ball the Broncos have had all season long, so predicting a game of 250-plus rushing yards is certainly out there, at least a little bit.

Javonte Williams has really taken a step forward in recent weeks. Melvin Gordon has played well all year. Mike Boone just won Angry Runs in really his first action of the season.

The Broncos know their identity and clearest path to success offensively right now is on the ground, and that’s why I think we might see their most concerted effort to punish a defense on the ground yet against Detroit.

Going for 250-plus yards won’t be easy, but thinking of Williams going for 125, Gordon going for 85, and Boone adding another 40 or so yards?

Again, that’s a big ask, but it’s not impossible at all.
