Denver Broncos 2022 QB Scenario #1 – Acquire a Big Fish Via Trade

This is the most desirable scenario for the Denver Broncos.  In this scenario, the team pulls off a trade for a franchise quarterback, namely Russell Wilson or Aaron Rodgers.

Both had rumors swirling around them that they wanted out of their respective teams, but nothing materialized this offseason.

I do think that at least one of them gets dealt, and it does look like Russ is the most likely option as of now, as Seattle stinks this season, and looks dead in the water.

I would lump Kirk Cousins in this mix as well, as he’s enjoying a career year, but is being viewed much lower than he should be– the Vikings defense is awful and isn’t doing the offense any favors.

Acquiring one of these quarterbacks propels the Broncos back into AFC relevancy, and allows George Paton to rest, knowing that he has a quality signal-caller running the offense.

This is the scenario that I think most of us would want to see, as well.

I know that Kirk Cousins isn’t the sexiest name, but he’s been insanely consistent his whole career, and I think would surprise a lot of people

We all know how good Russell Wilson and Aaron Rodgers are, so I do not think I need to say more about them.

However you feel about the quarterback position, I think it’s safe to say that there will be some sort of shakeup with the position this offseason.
