Round 2, Pick 56 – Daniel Faalele, OT Minnesota

The Denver Broncos have been looking for their long-term answer at the right tackle position since Orlando Franklin left the team years ago and have yet to find it. Ja’Wuan James went down as one of the biggest free agent busts of all time and the Broncos have been using a committee of right tackles this season due to injuries.

Veteran tackle Bobby Massie has been playing pretty well this season in his opportunities, but the Broncos need to find a long-term solution at the position.

Minnesota OT Daniel Faalele could possibly be the long-term solution at right tackle for the Broncos. Faalele is a massive prospect with surprisingly good athleticism for his size. However, he still has some work to do with his technique.

If Mike Munchak is still the offensive line coach in 2022, there’s no doubt in my mind that he could make Faalele into one of the better offensive tackles in the AFC. Looking at the work he has done over the years with Garett Bolles, the Broncos could finally have the full-powered offensive line they’ve been searching for.
