The Denver Broncos have an opportunity to go into Kansas City and get an upset win over the Chiefs, taking over first place in the division.

The Denver Broncos can go into Kansas City and end an 11-game losing streak against the Chiefs on Sunday Night Football. This would not only end an 11-game losing streak against the Chiefs, but more importantly, for the here and now, it would vault the Denver Broncos into first place in the AFC West.

There’s plenty more at stake this weekend than just ending a streak of Kansas City wins.

As of right now, not a lot is going in the Denver Broncos‘ favor.

If these 3 players step up big, the Denver Broncos will beat the Chiefs

Andy Reid is 19-3 historically as a head coach coming off of a bye week. He knows how to draw up a game plan regardless of whether or not he has Patrick Mahomes slinging the rock at the quarterback position.

The Chiefs are 9-0 in December over the last two seasons.

Kansas City is historically one of the toughest environments to go in and get a road victory.

The Cheifs are on a current four-game winning streak.

There’s so much that seems to be going against the Denver Broncos right now that you can’t help but wonder if it’s a little too much.

Frankly, the Denver Broncos are due for a win against the Chiefs anyway, and they have played well on the road this season. They are 3-2 in road contests this season including their dominating wins against the Giants, Jaguars, and Cowboys.

This will be a whole different animal, however. Which players need to step up in order for the Broncos to beat the Chiefs? Here are the top three.
