Bradley Chubb May Return This Week

Remember when Bradley Chubb was considered to be another potential trade piece by Broncos Country?

So do we.

Of course, following the blockbuster Von Miller trade, this cannot happen, and the Denver Broncos must roll with their young edge rusher who they once felt so confident in, they allowed Shaquil Barrett to leave.

Of course, this confidence in Chubb is warranted; when he’s on the field, he is a beast. However, that is the issue–the Broncos have struggled to keep him on the field.

The Denver Broncos may have an opportunity to get a game-changer back in Chubb just in time to face Justin Herbert Sunday, as, according to Mike Klis of 9News, there is optimism that Chubb may play Sunday, particularly due to a roster spot being opened up with the waiving of CB Mac McCain III.

Even if Chubb is deemed a no-go for this Sunday, it is very likely the Denver Broncos will get him back for the following week. Though this week’s divisional matchup is a vital game if the Broncos wish to bounce back, Chubb would get an opportunity to bring down an even bigger giant: Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs on Sunday Night Football.

Though Chubb has missed much of the season, the Denver Broncos are about to enter a tough divisional stretch, and it would be something to be thankful for if they were able to get their best pass rusher back just in time for it.
