Though the Denver Broncos have not played in a Thanksgiving game since 2009, the holiday is still usually a pretty good day. Thanksgiving, of course, is made up of the four F’s- family, friends, food and football.

Though Broncos Country can have a stress-free day without the team playing and can enjoy their feast in peace, the Las Vegas Raiders-Dallas Cowboys matchup on the afternoon slate does have divisional implications, and the Broncos could jump up to third place in the AFC West with a Raiders loss and a Broncos victory on Sunday.

Sitting at 5-5 after a 3-0 start and following a brutal loss to the Philadelphia Eagles that the bye week only took a little sting out of, fans of the Denver Broncos may not feel there is much to celebrate. Once again, there are question marks surrounding both coaching and quarterback play.

However, in the Thanksgiving spirit, though it may not always feel like it, there are aspects of the 2021 season that should leave both the Denver Broncos and their fans feeling thankful.

Let’s discuss.
