Bold prediction #2: Denver Broncos go 100 percent in red zone offensively

Whether it’s through the air or on the ground, I’m going to go out on a limb and say the Broncos bat 1.000 in the red zone this week.

Considering how bad they have been in this area of the field, that might be the boldest prediction of the season.

Denver’s red zone woes are well-documented at this point, but it is painful to see the numbers.

They are the fourth-worst team in the NFL at converting in the red zone with a 50 percent touchdown rate.

Last year’s offense, which includes a game with Kendall Hinton at quarterback, was over 53 percent in that same statistical category.

Against the Chargers, I think the Broncos get something cooking in the red zone, whether they are targeting Sutton and Patrick, Jerry Jeudy, or their tight ends for once.

More on that in a bit…
