Here is where the Denver Broncos stand in terms of the 2022 NFL Draft.

The Denver Broncos won their first three games of the 2021 season but have won just two games since. Those two games came against the NFC East: Washington and the Dallas Cowboys. At this point, this team is kind of just confusing.

Their results really put “any given game day” into perspective. They have been up and down this season. You never really know what you’re going to get.

On one hand, you have some very talented players like Melvin Gordon, Tim Patrick, Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy, Pat Surtain, and Justin Simmons. On the other hand, what is talent if you can’t get things right in the sixty minutes of game time? Despite their recent winning, their status is still a concern.

This team has had its fair share of injuries. Pair that with the trade of Von Miller, which still hurts, by the way, and realistically, it doesn’t look too promising this season. I did say that a couple of weeks ago in another article about whether or not the team will win another game this season. They did prove me wrong.

Where are the Denver Broncos in the 2022 NFL Draft as of today?

Right now, the Denver Broncos are in the 14th slot in the 2022 NFL Draft order. That’s five spots better than they were overall by the end of the 2020 season.

The team currently has a strength of schedule of .478, which means that the rest of their opponents have won a combined 48 percent of their games.

Still remaining on the schedule are five divisional games: Both matchups against the Kansas City Chiefs, both against the Los Angeles Chargers, and a trip to Las Vegas to take on the Raiders, who they lost to at home a month ago.

As of right now, it’s easy to get ahead of ourselves and say the team is on an upward trajectory. The fact is, we as fans and media need to just watch and let them take care of business themselves. There needs to be one-hundred percent focus by the team through the rest of the season if they’re going to continue the winning streak.
