Players giving Broncos a post-bye boost: Garett Bolles, Bobby Massie, OTs

The Denver Broncos’ offensive line has done well for most of the season. Although they haven’t been dominant, they have done a good job even with some moving parts at a variety of positions.

Even Garett Bolles, who rarely misses time due to injury, has been out for a few weeks at this point.

But Bolles could return after the bye week and give the Broncos’ offense another boost.

Calvin Anderson has done a good job in Bolles’ absence, especially against the Dallas Cowboys. With that being said, there’s a reason Bolles earned a big-money contract and he’s played much better for the Broncos over the last year-plus.

With Bolles back in the lineup, the Broncos could potentially swing Anderson over to the right side, but that may not be necessary.

Bobby Massie, the team’s starting right tackle who has also been very solid this season, could also be in line to return after the bye week.

If both Bolles and Massie are able to return after the bye week, the offensive line would be at a starting five alignment that many in Broncos Country feel is the best starting five alignment with rookie Quinn Meinerz starting at the right guard position.
