Week 14 vs. Detroit Lions

The Lions are still winless and there is a decent chance they could lose every game this season. But they have also been in games and should have some wins over some pretty good teams such as the Baltimore Ravens and Minnesota Vikings.

The team that played in those games could beat the Broncos team we saw last week against Washington. No, it really could.

But the Broncos can’t lose this one, especially if Detroit limps in at 0-12 by that point.

The Broncos could easily miss the playoffs for a sixth year in a row, but they need to take care of business against one of the league’s inferior teams the same way they did in the first three weeks of the season.

But as bad as the Lions are, the Broncos won’t beat them easily. They’ll compete until the end and give the Broncos a run for their money.

Denver wins it on a last-second Brandon McManus field goal.

Prediction: Broncos 26, Lions 23

Record: 6-7
