Week 12 vs. Los Angeles Chargers

The Chargers appear to be one of the AFC’s better teams this season and are most likely going to qualify for the playoffs, perhaps even winning the AFC West division. One would think they will steamroll Denver in this one.

But the Chargers are going to be coming off tough games against the Minnesota Vikings and Pittsburgh Steelers before having to travel to Denver and the Broncos are going to be coming off of their bye.

A rested team against one that has been playing tough competition, especially one playing at home, should have the advantage. Though the Chargers are the better overall team, the Broncos will have enough rest and time to prepare physically and mentally for this game in order to keep Justin Herbert and the Chargers’ offense in check long enough to inexplicably get the victory.

Prediction: Broncos 23, Chargers 20
