The Denver Broncos have had a turbulent 2021 season thus far and there are still nine games left to play.

The Broncos managed to even up their record at 4-4 following a win over the Washington Football Team on Sunday, snapping a four-game losing streak in the process. So where does the team go from here?

With the trade deadline looming, the Broncos could be big sellers with names like Von Miller, Kareem Jackson and Kyle Fuller being floated around by members of the media. General manager George Paton may feel the team has enough juice left to make a run at the postseason still, and not be looking to move anyone right now.

With nine games left on the schedule, there is room for the Broncos to make some moves in the standings and possibly still qualify for the playoffs. Of course, the team will have to play much better than it has over the course of the last month in order for that to happen.

Will that be possible? Let’s take a look at the team’s remaining schedule and predict how much better… or worse, things will get.

Week 9 at Dallas Cowboys

This will be the Broncos’ first game without Von Miller since the trade and it’s going to be against one of the league’s better teams.

The Cowboys have one of the league’s most potent offensive attacks and they are vastly improved on the defensive side of the ball.

The Cowboys found a way to win with their backup quarterback last week, but it looks like Dak Prescott is trending toward playing this week. None of that is good news for the Broncos and this game may not be close.

Prediction: Cowboys 27, Broncos 16

Record: 4-5
