As diehard Denver Broncos fans, there are certain players and teams in our division and in the NFL that we simply hate.

Is it wrong to “hate” something or someone?  It depends, I think.  To some, “hate” is reserved for only the worst offenders, specifically those who inflict pain on the Denver Broncos.

For others, like us diehard sports fans, “hate” is reserved for our archrivals and other players who are awful in every sense of the word.

As Broncos fans, we are required to hate at least three teams.  Those teams would be the Kansas City Chiefs, Las Vegas Raiders, and Los Angeles Chargers.

I don’t think any Broncos fan would question this.

What goes deeper is the hatred for certain players, and this is where many of us vary.  I personally loved Philip Rivers.  I thought he was an excellent quarterback and believe he is a surefire Hall of Famer.

However, there are other players within the AFC West that I and we all love to hate, so let’s take a look at some of them.

Denver Broncos: 5 AFC Foes We Love to Hate

1. Patrick Mahomes, QB, Chiefs

Patrick Mahomes and what he does on the football field is something that I cannot stand.  He often plays the game recklessly and has burned the Broncos many times.

His voice, sounding a bit like Kermit the Frog, being heard in interviews pierces at my innocent ears as well.

Furthermore, some of his other family members add on to the Patrick Mahomes rival arc.

Jackson Mahomes and his obnoxious Tik Tok videos have taken the league by storm, especially a couple of weeks ago, when was seen dancing for a video, directly on top of Sean Taylor’s “21” which was painted on the sidelines in Washington.

The sheer disrespect and tone-deaf behavior make me dislike the entire Mahomes clan even more.
