Denver Broncos: Predicting where veterans could land in trades

3. Graham Glasgow, OG

Glasgow’s tenure in Denver hasn’t been that great, but at the very least, he’s a competent guard who could help a team needing the extra boost along the offensive line.

He’s currently on a $44 million contract as well.

The Denver Broncos have two very promising guards currently riding the bench in Netane Muti and Quinn Meinerz.  Both players are extremely athletic, powerful, with exceptional upside.

The Broncos are almost guaranteed to move on from Glasgow before the 2022 season, so trading him before the deadline makes sense.

A team that makes a lot of sense to me is the Baltimore Ravens, who have been ravaged by injuries all season, especially along the offensive line.

The Ravens are 5-2 and sit firmly in the AFC playoff picture and AFC North division race.  Since they’ve been injured so much, they’ll probably look to buy at the deadline, and see if any team wants to part with their veterans.

Luckily, for the Ravens, the Denver Broncos have a great solution to help protect Lamar Jackson.

Graham Glasgow would likely be their second-best guard and eventual starter, alongside fellow guard Kevin Zeitler.

This would give the Ravens a nice tandem of interior linemen.  The Ravens do not have a lot of cap space, though, so they would have to make some financial adjustments.

They apparently have 10 picks in the 2022 NFL Draft, so there’s no reason why they shouldn’t be willing to give up one for Glasgow.

The Broncos could probably get a 6th for Glasgow, which is better than the alternative of simply releasing him at season’s end.

No one truly knows how many players the Broncos will trade before the deadline, but they certainly have a few that could be moved.
