The Denver Broncos have a quick turnaround this week as they take on the Cleveland Browns on Thursday Night Football.
The Broncos will look to snap their 3-game losing streak at Cleveland and finally get back into the win column. As for the Browns, they’ll be playing without the majority of their key guys on Thursday.
In the recent injury report, the Browns appear to be really banged up. It was just announced that former Broncos quarterback, Case Keenum, will get the start on Thursday over Baker Mayfield. Mayfield has been dealing with a shoulder injury and will not be able to go.
As of right now, it seems like the Browns will be without their starting quarterback, both starting running backs (Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt), and looks like both offensive tackles. That is just to name a few.
As those names were being mentioned at the presser yesterday for both teams, Broncos star pass-rusher, Von Miller, had some very interesting things to say at his presser Tuesday.
Denver Broncos: Von Miller is not messing around on Thursday night.
At Tuesday’s presser, Von Miller stated:
"“I will play well in this game. … I’m going to have a great game. … I don’t know who the tackle I’m going against is, but I’m going to kill him.”"
Some pretty scary stuff if you ask me.
Miller has vowed to play a great game on Thursday and to dominate whoever the offensive tackle he’ll be facing against. He hasn’t particularly played up to his standards as of late, but the Broncos will for sure need a great game out of him to get back to winning games.
The last time we got a real angry Von Miller before a game, the Denver Broncos crushed the Cardinals at Arizona and Miller dominated that game. Hopefully we can get a similar game to that one.
Miller’s stats for the season so far is:
- 17 Tackles
- 7 TFL
- 8 QB Hits
- 4.5 Sacks
It seems like the future Hall-of-Famer will have a monster game on Thursday and the Broncos will desperately need it.
Vic Fangio needs to be fired after embarrassing loss at home vs. Raiders
The Denver Broncos lose their third consecutive game, 24-34 to the Las Vegas Raiders and it is time that Vic Fangio needs to be fired.
The Denver Broncos need to win on Thursday against the Cleveland Browns and if not, it looks like it will be real dark for the rest of this season, including this coaching staff.
