What To Watch For

Tight End Game

Expect larger tight end involvement on both sides of the ball. Though Noah Fant has been severely underutilized so far in 2021, and has had his struggles, look for the Broncos to get him more involved in the passing game against the Raiders. It would be big for Fant to have a bounce back game in the Broncos’ first divisional game in 2021, where they need a win more than ever.

On the opposite spectrum, look for Raiders’ budding tight end Darren Waller to have a big game, as well. The Raiders may look to take advantage of the Broncos’ secondary that is still trying to find their niche. Waller, a known mismatch for defensive backs, could give the defensive unit fits.

Outside Distraction

Of course, we know the Las Vegas Raiders are dealing with plenty of outside distractions at this point. However, it is crucial that the Denver Broncos also do not “buy” into these distractions. As the Raiders are this week’s opponent, it is likely that much of the news surrounding this game is linked to Jon Gruden. Likely, many expect that the Broncos will face a discombobulated and flustered Raiders team.

Not so fast

The Raiders are going to come in and try to rally for each other and for their franchise that is suddenly out a head coach and heading in no particular direction. The Broncos must be prepared for anything against this team.

On the opposite spectrum, see what the Raiders feel they need to do to take care of business against the Broncos.
