Have the Denver Broncos Been Exposed?

When the Broncos started off at a 3-0 record, there was much criticism and skepticism surrounding the club’s hot start, with many citing the Broncos’ weakness of schedule when considering their first three opponents in the Giants, Jaguars and Jets, all far from formidable foes at this point.

Of course, the plan was for the Broncos to prove that they were a playoff contender within the next stretch. However, after losing two in a row to the Ravens and Steelers, the outside noise is only growing louder that the team was never a threat, only the same team as last year, masked by a week opening stretch.

If the Broncos continue to play the same football they have the past two weeks, the noise will be even harder to ignore. If the team wants to gain any respect back from the media and the football world, they will need to win this weekend.

Jon Gruden Resigns Amid Leaked Emails

At this point, it seems that even the most casual of football followers are familiar with the Jon Gruden situation, so we will not dwell on it long. A quick recap, in the event anyone missed it: amidst leaked emails between WFT Bruce Allen and Raiders coach Jon Gruden that contained misogynistic and hateful language. Monday evening, Gruden resigned from the organization.

Certainly, the Raiders have had much additional stress as they have prepared to take on the Broncos.
