. . . Washington Commanders. 24. team. 58

24. Washington Football Team

Once again, a team that had high hopes for this year has severely underperformed so far.  The season looked officially lost when Ryan Fitzpatrick went down with an injury, but it hasn’t been the offense that has suffered all that much.

In fact, Taylor Heinicke has looked pretty decent.  He hasn’t been the reason for the team’s lack of success and probably will keep his starting spot, even when FitzMagic gets healthy.

Their defense, which was seen as one of the league’s best coming into the season has been one of the league’s worst.

For the Broncos’ fans reading this, Washington’s team is made up very similarly to Denver’s, but their defense has been putrid.

They have a mean pass rush with Montez Sweat and Chase Young and a very formidable defensive line, but none of their defensive units have shown up.

Washington does sit a game out of a Wild Card spot and second in the NFC East, so they have plenty of time to rebound.
