29. Houston Texans

I think we underrated the Houston Texans coming into the season.  Maybe their players saw how low the national media was on the team and decided to prove us wrong.

Yes, the Texans are 1-4, and yes, Deshaun Watson is probably never playing for them again, but the Texans have looked like an actual NFL team at times.

They opened the season with a drubbing of the Jacksonville Jaguars and followed it with a close loss to the Cleveland Browns, who have one of the best rosters in the league.

They also played the New England Patriots very well, as quarterback Davis Mills enjoyed a very efficient day through the air.

It’s clear the Texans are missing a lot of talent, but they definitely give 110% every week.

Whether it’s the coaching or otherwise, the Texans appear to be a team that can play their opponents close.
