team. 124. . . . Kansas City Chiefs. 17

17. Kansas City Chiefs

So far, the Chiefs aren’t good, at all.  Their defense is historically bad, and they are tied for the most giveaways in the NFL.  Patrick Mahomes has already thrown 6 interceptions, matching his total from last year in just 5 games.

The Chiefs lack a consistent pass rush and have a horrid rush defense.  The offensive line is still trying to gain chemistry with each other, and the skill players outside of Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill are average, at best.

Many saw the Chiefs as a team who would only lose a game or two in 2021, but they currently sit outside the playoff picture, and it seems like this could be a Super Bowl hangover year.

I don’t doubt that the team will figure something out during the season, but their defense is losing them games, and the offense isn’t quite as efficient.

The AFC West is also a very good division, and the Chiefs sit at last place.

As it stands now, the Chiefs may very well miss the playoffs and will have to do some serious defensive retooling in the offseason.
