18. New England Patriots

In year two without Tom Brady, the Patriots have seriously turned over their roster.  They made a plethora of free agent signings along with drafting Mac Jones 15th overall.

Mac Jones perfectly encapsulates what the Patriots desire in a quarterback, so it was no surprise to see the team move on from Cam Newton and give Jones the reigns to the franchise.

The Patriots are probably a year or two away from returning back to the playoffs, but they have a strong defense and enticing young playmakers.

The Patriots don’t scare teams anymore, I don’t think, but the swift roster turnover is impressive.

The AFC East is the Bills’ division for the foreseeable future, but I think the Patriots can consistently carve out Wild Card appearances, starting next season.
