22. Chicago Bears
The Bears are a weird team. They are currently sitting in a playoff spot, but Justin Fields has taken over the show and looks like a rookie, as in, the offense looks mostly awful.
However, the Bears’ defense continues to dominate. They lead the league in sacks, and just held the Las Vegas Raiders to 9 points at their house.
The Bears just might slowly inch their way into a playoff spot, but I don’t think they’d be going anywhere.
I think unless Justin Fields turns it on in a big way, the Bears won’t pose a threat to anyone.
Not only that, their offensive line might be the worst in the NFL, and their overall depth is questionable at best. Even with a winning record, the Bears aren’t scaring anyone.
21. Minnesota Vikings
The Vikings may slowly be heading to a rebuild. The Kirk Cousins era has yielded little positive results, even though Captain Kirk hasn’t been the reason for their lack of success.
In fact, Cousins has been one of the more efficient quarterbacks in the league since coming to Minnesota, and it’s been the defense that has been their team’s downfall, which is uncharacteristic of a Mike Zimmer-coached team.
Many of their core defensive players are getting older, and they have issues along the offensive line.
In my opinion, if the Vikings don’t make the playoffs this year, they’ll move on from both Kirk Cousins and Mike Zimmer, and undergo a full rebuild.
