Brandon McManus hits a bomb

It was fun watching Tucker blast a 66-yard field goal last week to not only win the game, but to break an NFL record previously held by Broncos kicker Matt Prater. The record stood for nearly eight years.

It’s hard to imagine Tucker’s record ever being broken, but it will be Brandon McManus who hits a long one on Sunday with Tucker watching from the sideline.

McManus has the leg to do it and with the thin air on his side, he will convince Vic Fangio to send him out on the field to take a shot on a long one.

Just before halftime, the Broncos will cross midfield and with only a few ticks left on the clock, they will send McManus out for a field-goal attempt. Keeping in mind what happened in Jacksonville last week when Prater missed a 68-yard field goal and watched it be ran back by Jamal Agnew for a 109-yard touchdown, Fangio will be hesitant, but McManus will convince him to give it a go.

It will not be a record breaker, but it will be a massive kick that sends the Broncos into the break with a lot of momentum.
