Broncos keep Lamar in check

Lamar Jackson is averaging 83.3 yards per game on the ground, which is ridiculous for a quarterback. He already has one game over 100 yards rushing and is a threat to make a big play with his legs every time he has the ball.

That isn’t going to happen against the Broncos on Sunday. The Broncos currently have the second-best rush defense in the league, allowing just 59.3 yards per game on the ground.

The Broncos are going to rely on their secondary and force Jackson to drop back and throw the ball. Contrary to what many of his critics think, he can do that, but the Broncos are going to take his legs away and stay disciplined in their defensive lanes when he tries to take off.

Jackson is going to get his yardage, he almost always does. But he isn’t going to run for over 100 yards and his average yards per game are going to go down after this one.

Bold prediction: Denver holds Jackson to less than 50 yards rushing
