3-0 is 3-0

Though detractors of the Broncos are going to point to the 0-9 combined win-loss record of the teams the Broncos have faced this season, they have beaten the teams on their schedule.

Yes, the New York Giants, Jacksonville Jaguars and New York Jets are among the worst teams in the league, the Broncos have still gone out and taken care of business. They have beaten the teams that were placed in front of them.

And regardless of their combined record, the Broncos are 3-0 and though it is a now 17-game season, the odds of making the playoffs after a 3-0 start are quite good. Sadly, the last time the Broncos started 3-0 in 2016, they did miss the playoffs.

Things are definitely going to get more difficult starting this Sunday when the Ravens (2-1) come to town, but it’s hard to gauge them as well since they just about lost to the Detroit Lions.

Still, the Ravens have a proven history and with Lamar Jackson at quarterback, are always going to be in the mix. The Broncos will be tested on both sides of the ball in this game and if they can manage to get the win, the talk of them being overrated should greatly decrease.
