Vic Fangio

The defensive mastermind has a lot to be smiling about right now.

Coming into the 2021 NFL season potentially on the hot seat, head coach Vic Fangio faced a lot of pressure.

While the season is still in its infancy stage, and Fangio may not have solid job security yet, he is off to a good start thus far as his team opens the season 3-0.

Better yet, Vic Fangio has flipped the script on his September woes.

In his first two seasons as a head coach, Vic Fangio fell to 0-7 in the month of September, often leaving the Broncos down and out early on in the season. However, this season, Vic Fangio finished the month of September with a 3-0 record.

Fangio has impressed early on with his bolder playcalling, and if the trend continues, Vic Fangio may guarantee a return to the Broncos in 2022.
