Bradley Chubb

One thing most of Broncos Country was looking forward to most in 2021 was finally getting to see Von Miller and Bradley Chubb play together again as Von returned from his own ankle injury in 2020. Unfortunately, after Chubb was a last-minute scratch Week 1, this dream was very short-lived as Chubb reaggravated his ankle injury early in the contest against the Jaguars.

While the news was not worst-case scenario, it certainly was not best-case, either: following the arthroscopic surgery Chubb underwent early on in the week, he is expected to return in 6-8 weeks. This certainly was not welcome news for the young pass rusher who has already dealt with his fair share of injuries in his still-fresh NFL career.

Certainly, fans are concerned about Chubb’s future with the Denver Broncos, and some may even wonder if the Broncos should begin considering alternative options. Likely, some are lamenting the Broncos’ loss of Shaquil Barrett in favor of Bradley Chubb. However, let’s not panic quite yet. While this is frustrating to the fans, it is even more so for the player in question. When Bradley Chubb is on the field, he is an absolute force.

When he is recovered and back on the field later this season, expect Chubb to make noise and make a big difference defensively.
