Chubb and Miller went nearly two full years without playing together

When Chubb was able to suit up for Week 2 against the Jaguars, it brought and end to a 721-day stretch where he and Miller had not been in the same game together. That is nine days short of two calendar years.

Of course, that was short-lived as well as Chubb was forced to leave the game.

Injuries are more prevalent than ever in the NFL but the injury bug has stuck to these two players like glue. Chubb gets more of the criticism as the fourth-year player has appeared in just 35 of a possible 50 career games.

He was selected to the Pro Bowl last year following a 7.5-sack season, but he’s just never seemed like the dominant pass-rusher many felt he would be and that includes him having a big rookie season in 2018. That year, he finished just 2.5 sacks short of the all-time record for a rookie.

Unfortunately, he has never really been able to build upon that and the fact that offenses have been able to key on one of these guys rather than dealing with them together more often than not has been a big part of that.
