The Denver Broncos are undefeated heading into week three after another solid performance last Sunday.

It is always a pleasant sight when the Denver Broncos are undefeated and atop the division over the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers. It also may not last long, but for what has been given to the team the Broncos have taken advantage of both of their opponents to begin the season. Sunday it was the Jacksonville Jaguars who were handed that “L” by the Broncos.

It was another solid performance by the offense despite facing a ton of adversity all during the game. Denver still found ways to muster 20+ points for the second straight week. Speaking of 20, the Broncos were one of the tops in the league at passing attempts 20 or more yards downfield.

This is a huge testament once again to Teddy Bridgewater’s growth and acumen with his new team in 2021. Bridgewater is exceeding all expectations and raising the boats for a team that potentially is a playoff contender.

Along the lines of adversity, Denver unfortunately was dealt another difficult hand in the injury department. Bradley Chubb and Josey Jewell went down opening doors for other players to step up in their absence. Both will be missed tremendously and thankfully the Broncos have some depth with a few players who can fill their void. Sunday against Jacksonville was a decent indicator of the depth showing out after Von Miller and Alexander Johnson.

Special teams still provided its Jekyll and Hyde nature during games. For every step forward the special teams still takes two steps back. Sunday was no exception to this as it continues to be one of the biggest issues for the team. Against a team like Jacksonville who they should dominate in all phases, it was a disappointment, to say the least.

Over on the Manely Broncos Podcast, we discussed Jaguars game in full.

So what are the grades from Sunday’s game against Jacksonville? Let’s get to it.
