3. Ezekiel Ansah

Ziggy Ansah is another player that could help the Denver Broncos on the edge.

Ansah played his 8th year in the NFL last year with the San Francisco 49ers, where he only appeared in two games.

Before that, he played a year with the Seattle Seahawks and six years with the Detroit Lions.

Ansah is a good player, once racking up 14.5 sacks in a season, but he has a very tough time staying healthy.

He’s only played in two full seasons but can provide a nice boost to the Denver Broncos defense.

Ansah is a very quick player with great athletic ability and has a large frame, standing at 6’5″ and weighing 271 pounds.

He’s an athletic freak and possesses great length.

At this point, the Broncos need to add a veteran to their edge department.  Outside of Von Miller, they don’t have any more legitimate experience on their roster.

Malik Reed is in his third year but hasn’t exactly seen a whole lot in the NFL.

A guy like Ansah who can bring experience and production to the team would give a nice boost to the defense.

And, who knows, maybe some of these older, veteran players with years of experience and a bunch of sacks can enjoy a late-career resurgence in a Vic Fangio defense.

Whatever the Broncos ultimately decide to do, they will need to act quick, as they have a game on Sunday and will start to play tougher opponents soon after they play the Jets.
