Urban Meyer On His Way Out Already?

Last week, amidst Jacksonville’s meltdown against the Houston Texans, reports surfaced that Urban Meyer has already grown tired of coaching at the NFL level, and may be considering coming out of “college retirement” to coach at USC.

While Meyer swiftly dismissed the allegations, it is hard to dispute that things in Jacksonville may not be smooth sailing. It has also been reported that morale in the Jags’ locker room is “low” solely due to the presence of Meyer.

While this is all speculation, these headlines are certainly creating many distractions for an already struggling franchise to overcome.

Does Teddy B Have Job Security in Denver?

Teddy Bridgewater surprised Broncos Country and the NFL world with his lights out performance in Week 1 against the New York Giants.

While Bridgewater may not have accounted for 3+ touchdowns or 400+ passing yards, one could not help but be impressed with the confidence Bridgewater displayed and his ability to extend drives and even convert on fourth down, both factors that prevented the Denver Broncos’ offense from being successful in recent memory. Bridgewater was even able to silence doubt that he can deliver a deep ball.

There is certainly much left of the NFL season, and anything can happen, but for now, Teddy Bridgewater is working toward making himself the established QB1 in Denver.
