5 Denver Broncos players who must step up vs. Jaguars

3. Netane Muti, OG

One of the scariest injury updates coming out of the week one win was that Graham Glasgow had to stay the night in New York at the hospital after experiencing an irregular heartbeat during the game.

He’s fine, but obviously, the Denver Broncos need to be cautious and it’s likely we will see young Netane Muti making another start after an impressive debut late in the 2020 season.

As high as everyone’s expectations have been for Glasgow as a high-priced free agent, expectations have been high also for Muti, who was considered one of the best interior offensive line prospects in the 2020 NFL Draft class, he just couldn’t stay healthy in college.

He has been healthy up to this point and he has had some dominant reps, regular season or preseason.

Muti hasn’t been flawless, especially in pass protection, so he’s going to have to be on top of his game against the Jacksonville Jaguars who will try to confuse him with blitzes and stunts.

Communication will be key. Discipline will be key.

We all know Muti can bury defenders in the dirt as a run blocker, but he’s got to keep the pocket clean in this game.
