Tim Patrick can be big for this team

Tim Patrick began to put his name on the NFL map last season when the Broncos were without Courtland Sutton. He can now do the same in the absence of Jeudy.

Patrick is a big target for Bridgewater and caught the team’s first touchdown of the season on Sunday as part of a 4-catch, 39-yard day. With Jeudy injured, he should safely see anywhere from 5-10 targets per game.

In addition, Patrick seems to be a source of energy for the team, willing to hype his team up after making big plays, which he is more than capable of doing.

The Broncos still have Sutton, K.J. Hamler and their two young tight ends Noah Fant and Okwuegbunam, but Patrick may be the player who benefits the most from Jeudy’s absence in the lineup.

Look for him to be a regular target of Bridgewater, particularly when the team gets down in the red zone.
