Denver Broncos: Von Miller gets sack, huge TFL in 2021 debut
Denver Broncos star pass rusher Von Miller already has a sack and a huge tackle for loss against the Giants in his 2021 debut.
Von Miller is back for the Denver Broncos.
And it’s like he never left.
After missing the entire 2020 season with an injury, Von Miller returned to the field for his first regular season game since the end of the 2019 season.
He came back with a bang.

Not only did Miller get the sack on Daniel Jones here, but he also likely prevented the New York Giants from scoring three points earlier in the game.
Giants rookie wide receiver Kadarius Toney got introduced to Miller as New York was trying to find creative ways to get their first-round pick touches.
Back to the drawing board, I guess.
Miller was outstanding in his preseason debut against the Los Angeles Rams, and looked even better in the first half against the Giants.
It will be interesting to watch in the second half of this game what kind of impact Miller has as he gets his football feet back underneath him.
The Denver Broncos decided prior to the start of this game not to let Bradley Chubb test out his injured ankle, so it’s been Miller and Malik Reed taking the lion’s share of snaps with rookies Jonathon Cooper and Andre Mintze getting their feet wet as well.
Miller is in his age 32 season and the final year of a contract he signed after winning Super Bowl MVP following the 2015 season. The team had some serious deliberation about whether or not to bring Miller back for the 2021 campaign when they could have saved roughly $18 million against the salary cap had they let him hit free agency.
Ultimately, they made the wise decision to bring Miller back and now he’s out to prove he deserves to be a Denver Bronco for life.
