No. 1: 2013 vs. Baltimore Ravens

How do you like your revenge? Broncos fans like it like this.

To kick off the 2013 season, the Broncos actually got to host the season opener against the defending champion Baltimore Ravens and they made the most of it. Of course, the Ravens were the team that ended Denver’s season the year before in gut-wrenching fashion.

To appreciate this fully, watch this play.

The Ravens rode that play all the way to a Super Bowl victory and it never should have happened. Broncos fans stewed about it all offseason and had this game circled on the calendar.

So did Peyton Manning.

Manning threw for a ridiculous 462 yards in the game while matching an NFL record of seven touchdown passes. The Broncos had three players (Demaryius Thomas, Julius Thomas and Wes Welker) each with two touchdown receptions as well.

The Ravens tried to keep pace, but they simply couldn’t as the Broncos lit up the scoreboard for 49 points in a 49-27 victory.

This was definitely one of the most satisfying regular-season victories in team history and one that Broncos fans won’t soon forget.
