The Denver Broncos feature one of the best kickers in the NFL in Brandon McManus.  However, Harrison Butker, the Chiefs’ kicker, is also very good.

Since coming into the league in 2017, Butker has made 90.3% of his field goals.

Brandon McManus, in the last four years, has made an average of 81% of his field goals.

Advantage, Chiefs.

The Broncos do have the punting advantage, though. Sam Martin averaged 46.8 yards per punt last year and had a long of 69 yards.

The Chiefs punter, Tommy Townsend, had an average of 45 yards per punt and a long of 67.

Martin also had a longer net average than Townsend as well.

Advantage, Broncos.

So, the final tally is:

Denver: 6

Kansas City: 4

Tie: 1

According to my methods, the Denver Broncos have an overall stronger roster than the Kansas City, and I don’t think any of us should be afraid to say it.
