Broncos vs. Giants betting preview for Week 1
The NFL regular season is finally here and we can finally begin to talk about games that matter.
Right out of the gate, the Denver Broncos hit the road to take on the New York Giants. While the Broncos have missed the playoffs in each season since winning Super Bowl 50 in 2015, the Giants have missed the playoffs every year since 2016.
One of these teams will get out to a 1-0 start while the other will be digging itself out of a familiar hole.
The Broncos will begin the Teddy Bridgewater phase while the Giants could be without their best player in Saquon Barkley. How do the oddsmakers see this one?

Broncos vs. Giants injury report:
Though the official injury report has yet to be released, the Giants will likely be without tight end Evan Engram and they have several players already on injured reserve including offensive lineman Ted Larsen.
Though Barkley’s status is still up in the air, reports are starting to indicate that he will be available for this matchup.
For Denver, the team has players such as Essang Bassey (PUP) and Michael Ojemudia (IR) out for this game but should come into Week 1 relatively healthy with all of their starters available and on the field.
Game prediction:
It’s always tough to make a pick on a Week 1 game and the oddsmakers have this one close at Denver (-3). It seems they are expecting a low-scoring affair as the 42 points listed on the over/under line is the lowest on the Week 1 slate.
However, the Broncos are favored despite being on the road and despite coming off of a five-win season, which tells you how many feel about this Giants team.
This one should be a low-scoring, relatively close game but taking the Broncos to cover might be a good way to start the season for betting Broncos fans.
